Zhou Jianda, Associate Professor, Associate Chief Physician, PhD in Surgery, New Century Talent of the Ministry of Education, and recipient of the Special Government Allowance of the State Council, is currently Director of the Department of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery and Doctoral Supervisor at the Third Xiangya Hospital of Central South University. Since 1994, Zhou Jianda has been engaged in plastic and aesthetic surgery. He specializes in the revision of failed medical aesthetic cases, with a focus on plastic and aesthetic surgery of facial features and body contouring, as well as scar rehabilitation treatment. His main research directions are new techniques in plastic and aesthetic surgery, body surface tumors, and wound repair, and he is committed to technological innovation, including minimally invasive aesthetic procedures and traditional plastic surgery.

 

He serves as a member of the Burn Professional Committee of the Chinese Association of Integrative Medicine and Secretary-General of the Provincial Committee. His main research directions include new techniques in plastic and aesthetic surgery, skin wound repair, and burn immunotherapy. He has presided over and participated in 12 national and provincial/ministerial-level research projects. He serves as an editorial board member of several well-known journals, including “Chinese Journal of Physicians“, “Chinese Journal of Burns, Wounds and Surface Ulcers“, among others.
